Clan Freedom was started as a gaming club by Boccanegra in 1977.  We played Role-playing and board games.  In 1978, we started playing Freedom in the Galaxy from which our Clan name and most of our alter egos are derived.  Other favorite table-top games include Diplomacy, Dune, Gun Slinger, Magic Realm, RuneQuest, Dragon Pass, Civilization, Circus Maximus.  We have tried many games and if asked we can give an evaluation of just about every board game. During this time, we would participate in about 4 gaming conventions a year winning many awards.  In the 90’s as we moved to different parts of the country, we made the transition to computer games and the internet.  Our thoughts on the games can be found elsewhere on this web site.  Today Clan Freedom is kept alive by the original members, new friends, and our families.
